In addition, the current infrastructure was not adequately able to provide coverage over the variety of terrains the area encompassed.

NextG Solution
NextG launched major DAS systems - comprising hundreds of nodes - in Los Angeles and the surrounding metro area. Extending from Los Angeles north to Malibu and south to Long Beach, these DAS systems significantly boosted the wireless performance for multiple operators and the customers they served within this large area, including densely populated areas in and around Los Angeles.
NextG’s Los Angeles multi-operator system includes a combination of newly-built DAS nodes, as well as upgrades to pre-existing node sites, to accommodate new data-rich technology and service offerings. Today, NextG has a major DAS-system presence in Southern California, stretching from San Diego to Los Angeles.
