NextG Launches Major Philadelphia DAS Network

SAN JOSE, CA - NextG Networks, Inc. a leading provider of distributed antenna systems (DAS systems), has successfully launched a large new Northeast DAS network. With just over 400 DAS sites providing coverage over 110 square miles, the network provides a new mobile telecommunications infrastructure for metropolitan Philadelphia residents and visitors.

This deployment represents Next's first major DAS system in the Northeast and expands Next's presence in the United States.

"This is an outstanding achievement for our team, the wireless operator, and the local officials with whom we worked closely on this project," said John Georges, NextG's CEO. "This deployment's size presented a variety of technical and logistical challenges that we addressed with accuracy and efficiency."
