NextG Networks Has Best Year Yet in 2006

-Milestones Include Addition Of Several Large Customers, Increased Contracts, Early Completion Of Strategic Networks and Expanded Network Operations Facility-

SAN JOSE, CA - NextG Networks, the leading provider of outdoor Distributed Antennas System (DAS) networks, added numerous new customers and markets while completing what is believed to be the largest DAS network in the United States during 2006. Projects initiated during 2006 added up to 1,000 nodes and fiber route miles to NextG's portfolio. The company also tripled its contract values compared to the previous years.

"We're very proud of how we finished the year-our numbers and milestones certainly illustrate the strong growth in demand for our DAS Networks," said John Georges, CEO of NextG Networks. "Wireless service providers, municipalities and universities are increasingly leveraging the added value and enhanced performance of NextG's DAS Networks."

The list of customers that NextG added includes both tier 1 and regional operators. The company designs, permits, builds, owns and operates DAS networks in zoning-challenged areas and high-capacity urban centers. NextG expanded its network operations facility to support its growing portfolio.

A significant accomplishment for the company included its deployment of a network consisting of 300-plus nodes and 300-plus miles of fiber in San Diego for Cricket Communications. It is believed to be the largest DAS deployment in the U.S. and it was completed in less than nine months. The completion coincided with the launch of Leap Wireless International's Cricket® and Jump Mobile™ services in that city. The DAS network provided enhanced capacity and coverage in the San Diego region.

The company also added operators at the University of Notre Dame and at the University of California, Santa Cruz, bringing the total to four operators on one DAS network. NextG's DAS Network enables universities to provide improved mobile performance. It also allows the university to control operating expenses by removing underutilized residence-hall land-line phones.
