Position Summary
You will be responsible for full specification and testing of third party equipment elements that are deployed in NextG Networks’ systems, including fiber-microcell equipment used for GSM, CDMA, UMTS and IS-136 applications. You also will be responsible for managing our overseas vendors for new product developments; maintaining high quality and on-time delivery of products; and directing both internal and external resources to achieve aggressive goals.
Qualifications
- BSEE or equivalent and 10 or more years of experience with wireless and/or optical equipment design, testing and/or system integration are required.
- 3+ years of management experience, including directly related project management experience required.
- Direct experience with fiber microcells and/or CWDM a plus.
- The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast paced start-up environment and direct both internal and external resources to achieve aggressive goals.
- Strong verbal and written English communications; and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are essential.
