NextG Networks fills gaps in wireless coverage, increases capacity
in high traffic areas, and improves bandwidth for high ARPU services such
as wireless data. In one example, the wireless carrier's original network
had several coverage and capacity gaps in this city as you can see in the
"before" coverage survey below.
By adding in coverage from a NextG network, this operator closes all of its major coverage holes and improves capacity - thereby satisfying its customers and driving more minutes of usage. The "after" coverage survey map below shows how the NextG network fills the coverage gaps with strategically placed, low-power, discrete fiber-based microcells (also called "nodes").
