Installation
and deployment of NextG networks is a relatively fast and simple process,
because NextG Networks uses fiber-based distributed antenna systems located
unobtrusively on poles in the public right of way. To ensure the highest quality
network, NextG provides all necessary network elements and services on a turnkey
basis to get networks deployed on time and under budget.
There are two ways wireless carriers can be deployed on a NextG network:
Existing Networks
- In metropolitan areas NextG can add new carriers, new services, and additional bandwidth in a matter of days - depending on the carrier's network requirements.
- Our professional installation teams add to our networks in a matter of weeks when additional network equipment is required.
New Networks
- A NextG network can be "on air" in under 9 months depending on use of our existing fiber assets and regulatory status. In one example, a wireless carrier was running traffic over a new NextG network 6 months after the project was approved.
Whether leveraging NextG's significant fiber assets in the US or using other fiber, NextG's patented RF-over-fiber technology gives customers a flexible, scalable, customizable wireless network faster and often with less expense than traditional tower or rooftop sites.
