Each NextG network balances the aesthetics requirements of communities and consumers with the network performance desired by carriers’ customers. No two networks are exactly the same.  Size, scope, fiber route, equipment, features, and management are all flexible and unique. A description of some the attributes of each is detailed below.

Fiber
NextG Networks is a market leader in RF-over-fiber. The company owns fiber assets across the US and has virtually unlimited access to dark and existing fiber resources nationwide. NextG fiber assets are used specifically for RF-over-fiber, wireless backhaul, and broadband wireless traffic.

Network Operation Center, NOC
The NextG NOC was designed to manage specialized fiber transport networks and address the specific needs of carrier customers. Our software and hardware are dedicated to making the NextG network fully integrated, scalable, reliable, flexible, and easy-to-use.

Network Monitoring
Because distributed antenna systems are not standardized across vendors, carriers, or network carriers, traditional deployments do not have consistent software interfaces, networking communications, or even monitoring tools and alerts. NextG Networks addresses this deficientcy by offering standard, consistent monitoring tools and alarms using software that is deployed at the BTS hotel or co-location facility.

To ensure the highest quality and performance, NextG's network monitoring suite includes:

Hardware and Software
Because NextG is a carrier's carrier, we build our networks to support a large variety of carrier backend operations. Our infrastructure supports hardware supplier diversity and our vendor-neutral software presents a common set of alarms back to our carrier customers.

Maintenance
NextG maintenance agreements and network reliability meet or surpass carrier-grade standards. Our nationwide teams are dedicated to proactive and reactive maintenance. NextG teams are responsible for:

Advanced System Monitoring and Repair
Should a problem occur at an individual antenna on a network, NextG's advanced monitoring systems identify and report problems in real time. NextG has systems in place for dealing with problems on remote sites.

In the event of a fiber break, nodes in a fiber ring can be remotely switched at the co-location facility using a NextG NOC-controlled multi-port optical switch.
