RF Design and Engineering Services
NextG Networks' pioneering achievements and substantial patent portfolio in fiber optics and RF (radio frequency) are the foundation of its Distributed Antenna System (DAS) deployments nationwide. These are the differentiators that give NextG's carrier customers a competitive advantage in efficiency, stability, and capacity. NextG offers comprehensive RF design services to its service provider customers so they can succeed in every area where they chose to expand coverage, capacity, performance or services. NextG’s design services include:

Before the company deploys a system, all equipment goes through NextG's advance staging facility where it configures the RF system equipment that goes in the collocation facility and on the remote sites. NextG's experienced field teams include regional RF engineers who are trained on RF-over-fiber systems, hardware design, and hardware commissioning that set parameters and perform detailed RF testing prior to line call or data testing.

Though the FCC is ultimately responsible for setting RF safety and emissions standards in the United States, NextG’s systems produce 50 to 100 times fewer RF emissions and use a small percentage of allowable power relative to alternative technologies. These distributed antenna systems exceed even the most stringent RF requirements. Because of this, communities, cities, schools, and metro areas around the country have chosen to deploy NextG systems over their other options for supporting additional wireless coverage, capacity and performance.
