Once a college or university has decided to improve the coverage, capacity, and wireless services on their campuses, NextG Networks installs, manages, and maintains the most advanced wireless network available. With numerous patents, NextG's superior networks tie together existing available fiber with small microcells deployed discretely on utility and light poles around campus.

In the network diagram below, multiple wireless carriers and many wireless services are transported along the same fiber using NextG's patented multiplexing technology. This allows the campus to build out Wi-Fi networks, public safety networks, and other wireless networks while they enable wireless carriers to cover the student body safely and inconspicuously.

Benefits to the campus

The NextG network is owned, managed, monitored and maintained by NextG Networks. Once the NextG network is live, NextG negotiates to make the network available to wireless carriers who want to offer coverage on your campus. In many cases, a portion of the revenues flow back to the school. The NextG network leaves campus officials free to concentrate on their core businesses while generating revenue from the network.
